Lamborghini launches Urus ST-X concept racing car in 2020

According to foreign media reports, Lamborghini released a concept car, which is the Urus SUV racing model. This design is an accurate preview of the car, and the new car will debut in the competition in 2020.

The Urus ST-X concept car is based on the regular version of Urus launched in 2017, but Lamborghini reduced its weight by 25% and will improve the dynamic performance of the vehicle. Other upgrades include a steel roll cage, an integrated fire suppression system, and an FT3 fuel tank. The sport exhaust system uses a hexagonal exhaust tail pipe. The vehicle has a rear wing and a 21-inch center-locked alloy hub.

Lamborghini pointed out that the ST-X uses the same powertrain as the conventional version, with a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine that produces 650 horsepower and 627 pound-feet of peak torque. The ST-X has a larger air inlet to improve cooling.

The Urus ST-X will be unveiled in 2019 and will compete in a single-brand tournament in 2020. The event will be held in Europe and the Middle East in 2020 and will be held on specially prepared FIA-accredited tracks. Buyers participating in the event will purchase the Arrival and Driving Plan, which includes automotive and technical support, but pricing information has not been announced. (Internship
